Nevermore Radio: An Edgar Allan Poe Audio Anthology

Dates: October 27 @ 6:30 pm (Doors open at 6:00)

Location: The Chewelah Center for the Arts

Admission: $20

Directed by: Larah Richie

Step into the shadows of the macabre this October as Nevermore Radio: An Edgar Allan Poe Audio Anthology, written and directed by Larah Ritchie, brings the master of the gothic tale to chilling new life. This unique production begins with three live studio recordings at the radio station, where the public is invited to witness—and become part of—the broadcast. Each session will feature spine-tingling performances of Poe’s most haunting works, complete with atmospheric sound effects and the thrill of a live audience. Episodes will be aired weekly throughout October, echoing across the airwaves like whispers from the grave.

The series culminates on October 27 with a one-night-only staged performance at the Chewelah Center for the Arts. Audiences will experience the full anthology—The Cask of Amontillado, The Bells, The Black Cat, The Tell-Tale Heart, and The Raven—performed live on stage with a masterful cast, sound crew, and an air thick with Poe’s unmistakable dread. To deepen the mood, themed cocktails will be available, heightening an evening that promises to be as intoxicating as it is unforgettable.

Attend a recording session for a recommended donation of $10 (or all three for $25), and join us at the theater for $20 general admission. Doors open at 6:00 pm, with the show beginning at 6:30 pm. Step closer, if you dare, into Poe’s world of mystery, madness, and nevermore.
