What's the Story?

As You Like It is a sparkling romantic comedy in which banishment leads not to loss, but to transformation. When the rightful Duke and his followers retreat to the Forest of Arden, the court’s intrigues give way to a world of wit, disguise, and self-discovery. Rosalind, disguised as a young man for her safety, tests the nature of love itself, guiding her beloved Orlando and a lively cast of characters through mistaken identities, philosophical musings, and joyful entanglements. Set against the freedom of the forest, the play celebrates love in all its forms, forgiveness, and the possibility of renewal. Join us for our annual Shakespeare On The Green, July 10–11, 2026, and experience this timeless comedy in a relaxed summer afternoon setting. Admission is free, and all are welcome to bring a blanket, enjoy the sunshine, and share in the joy of live theatre. 🌿🎭
