What's the Story?

Join us for an engaging evening of one-act plays that blend laughter, warmth, and unexpected twists. You’ll encounter Oscar and Mildred navigating both each other and their shiny purchase in The New Car, and two hesitant strangers finding common ground on a rickety Ferris Wheel. In Good Benches, Good Neighbors, a simple garden bench becomes the setting for new connections. Meanwhile, Creamy Dreamy Boyfriend takes romance to an otherworldly extreme, and Members Only turns the gates of heaven into a tech-support comedy.

Balancing the lineup are Dear Johnny and Goodbye Cecile, heartfelt plays that explore relationships, memory, and the meaning of goodbye with humor and tenderness. With such a wide range of stories—comic mishaps, romantic surprises, and reflections on love and life—this evening of one-acts promises a theatrical experience that’s as varied as it is entertaining. Whether you’re a devoted theatergoer or just looking for a night of lively storytelling, you’ll find something here to enjoy.
